Advocacy Program

The Arc of Willilamson County is commited to helping individuals and families locate and access services and otherwise secure their rights guaranteed by law.  The Arc works cooperatively with other agencies and governmental entities to help individuals and families solve problems or find appropriate services.

The Arc can provide assistance to families in locating and accessing services such as Respite Care/Sitter Services, Residential and Supported Living, Employment/Supported Employment, Adult Day activities, Social and Recreation Programs, Conservatorship and Estate Planning, and Social Security/SSI/SSDI. The Arc of Williamson County's Student Advocacy Program works with school age individuals eligible for special education services and their families who reside in Williamson County and need assisstance in navigating the IEP process.  Contact Donna Isbell at 615-302-2726 or e-mail at donnaisbell@charter.net if you or someone you know may be in need of this service. The Arc of Williamson County provides social and recreation activities for individuals with disabilities in Williamson County.  Traditional activities for adults include a Spring Party, an Autumn Party and a Holiday Banquet.  Watch the Upcoming Events section of this website for information as activities are scheduled.
